Each link goes to the official motor vehicle page USAGov lists for that state, opened and checked on 2026-10-07, except Alaska's link, which is listed by USAGov; not checked by us. Two exceptions: Oklahoma links Service Oklahoma (oklahoma.gov/service.html), which handles driver licenses and vehicle titles, and Minnesota links the Driver and Vehicle Services home page instead of a login page. Pages move; if a link fails, use USAGov's list of state motor vehicle services.
Each state sets its own rules for title transfers, odometer disclosure forms, plates, registration and taxes in a private sale. We don't restate them; these pages do. Some states split driver licensing and vehicle titles between offices; if a page covers licenses only, search that site for 'title'.
Not legal or tax advice. You can do every official step yourself, directly with your state. State motor vehicle offices publish their title and registration instructions free on their official websites, and most post the forms too. This kit is a paid planning convenience, not a requirement; you don't need it to buy or sell a car.
Instant download. 14-day no-questions refund. Edition 1.0, dated 2026-10-07. For a private sale in any U.S. state or DC; each state's own rules you read on its own pages.
